The XE-1 system is a five octave, one manual organ with a large range of different tones (including Hammond drawbars), rhythms and effects.  The Hammond drawbars provide the foundation of the organ of course and can be built upon by up to 3 extra tones not to mention split functions.  The rhythm section provides a selection of popular genres of beats all with 4 different variations and intros/endings etc.  Because there is such a big scope for creating different combinations of sounds, it is very important to have an easy to use preset area in order to save your favourite settings.  There are about 100 different presets spots available to be saved on-board and are readily accessible – these will not only save your sound and rhythm set-up but also the many changes which can be made to volumes, equalisation and effects.   There is a disk-drive also on-board which can store more presets, extra rhythms available and MIDI file songs. 
 
One of the most important things to consider when designed such an elaborate instrument is the need to support all the features with good quality speakers so the instrument can truly be enjoyed by player and audience.  Hammond has developed a special high-performance stereo amplifier that will generate a solid 2X50W output.  Couple this to a brand new patented heavy duty bass reflex speaker system with a double 13cm wooker and you will experience an unbelievable sound for such a compact instrument.  Another feature to support the tone quality is the addition of an exclusive S.E.S (Sound Expansion System) which provides players with a much broader sound sensation through an expanded stereo image simulation.  These are all very important features for the home organist as they enhance to experience of playing the organ and give the best chances of long-term enjoyment and musical appreciation.

Hammond XE-200 Luxury

The XE-200 Luxury model gives you all the features and versatility of the XE-2, with some luxury added extras. This will make your musical experience sheer pleasure.

The XE-200 becomes a full spinet organ with additional speakers for superb power. It has a built-in 13-note pedal board so you have the complete organ experience. Within the wooden stand structure, there is also an expression pedal with footswitch, piano-sustain pedal and additional stereo amplification system (2x 50 Watt).
