Executive Features

The patented "Schimmel Konzert Concept"- the acclaimed construction specifications to Schimmel's largest grand piano- has been consistently integrated into smaller models. This enables pianists to enjoy the benefits of the outstanding touch and tonal characteristics of the large Konzert grand even when performing on smaller models. This concept, and the Schimmel family of sound is unique worldwide.

Four generations of family passion
Success demands courage and passion. These qualities were demonstrated by Wilhelm Schimmel, who founded the Schimmel Piano Company. Shortly after the completion of his training as a piano manufacturer, he established his own workshop in Leipzig and produced his first piano the beginning of 1885. His instruments were impressive for their advanced technique, excellent tone, and contemporary form. Both he and his slogan "quality will prevail" were proved right by his success.
Today Schimmel remains in the hand of Wilhelm's great-grandson in law, Hannes M. Schimmel-Vogel, who has led Schimmel to continue to be in most highly awarded German piano.

What makes this piano the best-seller of all Schimmel models? Perhaps because this instrument possesses the ideal combination of reliability, playability, tonal quality and elegance. The model C 116 Tradition, the younger brother of the C 116 Tradition, has made it to the top of the list. This piano has been in our programme for over a decade, but its popularity remains unbroken. On the contrary: pianists prefer to return again and again to reliable models.

The unostentatiously elegant C130 Tradition is the top-of-the-range in its series. Its touch and tone are harmonised pefectly from the powerful bass ntes up to the sparkling treble register. Fully made in Germany, now on display in ebony gloss. RRP $36995
